Hello everyone. Sorry I have been neglecting the site lately. Lots of stuff happening right now, namely my grand-mother being on her death bed. Without getting into details, it should happen any time now so I’ve been scrambling to get everything prepared and finish whatever I have to so that I can leave when I have to.
So now that Raff is steadily updating Otakumole, slowly catching up the current releases and the translation tool is working, I thought I would stop doing previews and/or summaries (of current mangas). But then it was pointed out to me that some of you never got the chance to create an account and therefor cannot access Otakumole’s content.
So here’s what I would like to know and I would really appreciate it if you could answer these polls for me.
Now a question to the people who were writing the recaps/summaries, do you still want to or will you just translate them on Otakumole or just read them there period?
Hum I guess that’s it. I’m under no illusion that if I stop posting previews you will all keep visiting this site but that’s ok. It’s not what I intended in the first place. I can already see the view counts decreasing ah ah.
One thing though, if I am to post previews, you’ll have to ask for them, request a specific manga. Otherwise I’ll just post the ones I really like.
To do that, I recommend looking through ‘My manga magazines‘ menu or just directly go the page. I have written all the mags that I own and for each one I wrote what mangas and what chapters it contains.

Hi! First time being here but I reviewed the previews and summaries. Thank you very much for the scans. I used to check mangalator before they closed the scans to only registered users. I was lazy to sign up so that’s my fault. I’m glad you will still be posting manga previews. I’m sure I’ll like the same mangas as you. Post any you like, no rush either. ^^

As for the site, I think you should do what fits your own schedule best, I’ll be checking this place regularly. If you want me too, I can continue summarising Yuugure Light, Liar x Liar and such. But I better try to make them a bit shorter and easier to read, though XD

I voted I have an account so don’t bother, but now that I think about it I should’ve chosen other. XD
I don’t want to waste your time, especially if it’s a series you don’t care about (since we’ll probably get them on mangalator eventually anyway) so I’d say, continue summarizing/recapping what you want to / are interested in, because that’s what matters to YOU. 🙂
As for the stuff I was summarizing, I’m on the fence about it. For Suijin, I think I might just translate on otakumole. As for Sora wo Kakeru Yodaka, pn the one hand, it would save your time if I don’t summarize (because you won’t have to take photos and/or scan and upload), but on the other hand, I don’t know if I’m going to translate it (because I don’t know if chaneslaughter is coming back or if another translator decides to pick it up). And I’m also considering only summarizing it and not translating it even if no one picks it up, because it would save me a lot of time, but yeah… I really don’t know. So just put me down on the “no” side for now.

Hi Ceecile! It’s been a while since I joined a conversation but I do visit worpress regularly. I hope you’re okay and your family well. Just hold on and fighting!
I have an otakumole account so I can now still catch with the updates. But as you said with those who don’t have an account in otakumole, and still you want to share your manga, the best solution i think is what you already suggested: Posting what you like and taking up reader’s request in consideration of what time is best for you.
And as for your own summary, I do read nagareboshi lens since your ahead of the english scanlations 🙂

The magazines that I’m currently buying (yes, I caved in and bought the November issue of Petit Comic, lol) cover the majority of the manga that I’m following, so I’m good with your posting what you really like. 🙂

Like I’ve said, I’ve written in details what are the magazines I have and what manga is in all of them, with their chapter number. Go look at that before asking please.
